TL;DR
Principal Financial Analyst (Capital Finance): Leading global depreciation forecasting, capex execution, reporting, and variance analysis across finance, engineering, procurement, and regional teams with an accent on GAAP/IFRS accounting, financial modeling, and cross-functional coordination. Focus on reconciling balance sheets, preparing capitalization requests, maintaining fab depreciation forecasts, and streamlining capital expenditure processes.

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria; hybrid working model and flexible working time.

Contract manufacturer for the global semiconductor industry, developing semiconductor technologies and application solutions for mobile communications, consumer electronics, automotive, and other technical applications.

What you will do

  • Lead global depreciation forecasting, monthly and quarterly reporting, variance analysis, and KPI tracking for cash and depreciation.
  • Prepare monthly journal entries, perform variance analysis, and complete quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Coordinate capex execution between local and corporate finance, engineering, and procurement teams.
  • Prepare project capitalization requests, including hookup cost breakdowns and categorization.
  • Support individual fab depreciation forecasts and provide input for ad hoc management and team requests.
  • Help streamline capex execution processes, provide team backup, and build relationships with technical and business stakeholders while supporting EHS&S requirements.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Finance or Accounting.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Sound accounting and financial analysis skills, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Ability to meet work and project deadlines with high-quality output.
  • Strong PC skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including AI for Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Problem-solving ability focused on guiding, implementing, and sustaining process excellence.
  • Ability to switch between detailed analysis and executive-level communication.

Nice to have

  • Experience with SAP Project Systems and Anaplan.
  • Strong attention to project and data analytics.
  • Team collaboration, analytical, and project management skills.
  • German language skills.
  • Experience working across multiple cultures and geographic locations.
