Senior Financial & Budget Management Analyst

Location: On-site at NGA Arnold, Missouri, United States; eligible for OCONUS travel.

Salary: $128,000–$140,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Lead financial management activities for an NGA program or group of programs, including budget analysis, planning events, and detailed documentation packages.
• Justify and defend programs and budgets to oversight bodies and external stakeholders.
• Develop budget testimony, briefing materials, and formal responses to inquiries from ODNI, OSD, OMB, and Congress.
• Analyze complex financial data, identify multi-year trends, and produce detailed reports using automated tools and databases.
• Advise Program Managers on fiscal execution spend plans and strategies for addressing funding shortfalls.

Requirements

• Master’s degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience, compliant with GSA standards.
• Demonstrated experience providing financial support.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including formulas, functions, and pivot tables for analyzing and reconciling budgetary data.
• Proficiency building financial charts and briefings in MS PowerPoint.
• Experience researching, maintaining, and presenting complex budget analysis to all levels of management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle confidential information with integrity and tact.
• Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI access.
• Willingness to successfully complete a Counterintelligence polygraph.
• Eligibility for OCONUS travel.

Nice to have

• Three years of experience with DoW/IC financial processes and software.
• Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) certification.
