Head of Security Engineering (Cybersecurity)

Location: Solna, Gothenburg, Jönköping, Linköping, Malmö or Stockholm, Sweden; alternative locations may be possible. Some travel is required to meet teams and business stakeholders.

What you will do

• Lead, develop, and engage employees and leaders within Security Engineering.
• Lead the development of security engineering capabilities and services.
• Define and drive the Security Engineering strategy and roadmap.
• Drive security-by-design across platforms, applications, and infrastructure.
• Strengthen security architecture, engineering standards, secure development practices, automation, and Zero Trust capabilities.
• Support secure cloud adoption, platform modernisation, cyber resilience, and relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and partners.

Requirements

• Academic degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Strong people leadership and talent development skills, including experience leading teams and driving change in complex technology environments.
• Extensive experience in Security Engineering, Security Architecture, or related security domains.
• Strong understanding of security-by-design, modern security architectures, and security engineering practices.
• Experience driving security transformation, automation, or modernisation initiatives.
• Understanding of Zero Trust, cloud security, and modern security technologies.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across organisational boundaries and influence stakeholders at different levels.
• Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.
• Successful completion of security vetting based on current security protection regulations is required; additional citizenship obligations may apply for positions requiring security clearance.
