Research Engineer - Voice/Speech AI

Location: Onsite in Downtown San Francisco, United States

Salary: $180,000–$250,000 annually

What you will do

• Research and develop real-time, full-duplex voice agents for gaming.
• Build systems that listen, interrupt naturally, understand live game states, and participate in multiplayer interactions.
• Work on speech foundation models and ASR-LLM-TTS or speech-to-speech systems.
• Train and fine-tune models, and conduct evaluations and benchmarking.

Requirements

• Research-led experience in speech foundation models.
• Experience with ASR-LLM-TTS or speech-to-speech systems.
• Experience with full-duplex voice models.
• Experience with training, fine-tuning, evaluations, and benchmarking.

Nice to have

• Top speech or AI publications.
