1PL Delivery Operations

What you will do

• Oversee day-to-day 1PL delivery operations, including route planning, dispatch, and last-mile delivery execution.
• Monitor delivery performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and prepare operational reports for senior management.
• Develop strategies to improve delivery efficiency, reduce operational costs, and increase customer satisfaction.
• Manage fleet operations, driver scheduling, resource allocation, and equipment utilization.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Collaborate with warehousing, customer service, and technology teams; resolve delivery exceptions and customer complaints.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in logistics operations, including at least 2 years managing direct 1PL or last-mile delivery operations.
• Strong understanding of transportation management systems, route optimization software, and logistics analytics tools.
• Proven experience improving operational efficiency and reducing costs within a delivery network.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, including experience managing a large workforce.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Familiarity with e-commerce logistics and express delivery industry trends.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese.
