Head of Compliance (Crypto)

Company

hirify.global is a crypto technology company building a multi-product ecosystem spanning mining, wallets, earn products, B2B infrastructure, and other digital-asset services across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions.

What you will do

• Own the group-level compliance framework across hirify.global products and legal entities.
• Lead AML/CTF, sanctions, KYC/KYB, transaction monitoring, Travel Rule, and customer and counterparty risk controls.
• Define regulatory and licensing strategies across existing and new markets, and support product launches and market entry.
• Lead interactions with regulators, banks, payment providers, external counsel, and other financial partners.
• Oversee audits, inspections, reporting, remediation, and ongoing compliance obligations while assessing complex or high-risk cases.
• Build scalable compliance processes, lead and develop the existing compliance team, and work with the CEO, Legal, Product, Finance, and business leaders.

Requirements

• Senior compliance leadership experience in crypto, fintech, payments, banking, or another regulated financial environment.
• Strong practical knowledge of AML/CTF, sanctions, KYC/KYB, transaction monitoring, and financial-crime risk.
• Hands-on experience with regulatory licensing and direct work with regulators across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience assessing new products, markets, and business models from a regulatory and compliance perspective.
• Strong understanding of crypto-specific risks, including wallets, custody, transaction flows, Travel Rule, and high-risk jurisdictions.
• Experience working with banks, payment providers, and other regulated counterparties.
• Ability to balance business enablement with risk management by proposing alternatives rather than only identifying restrictions.
• Strong ownership and decision-making skills, plus experience leading and developing a compliance team.

Nice to have

• Proven track record of obtaining VASP licenses or registrations, such as under MiCA/CASP or other national VASP regimes.
