Global Communications Intern (Energy Transition)

Location: Hybrid in Apeldoorn, Netherlands; at least two days per week in the office, with hybrid working available after the initial onboarding period.

Monthly internship allowance: €500–550 based on 40 hours per week.

What you will do

• Write and edit articles, news updates, and leadership messages for internal and external channels.
• Turn complex topics into clear, engaging stories for different audiences.
• Support internal communication campaigns that engage employees and communicate company strategy and culture.
• Help manage and optimise the intranet, internet, and social media channels.
• Assist with planning and executing global communication initiatives and events.
• Track performance and engagement metrics to improve communication impact.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications or a related field at a university in the Netherlands at WO or HBO level.
• Strong interest in corporate communications and storytelling.
• Proactive, curious, and eager to learn.
• Strong writing and editing skills.
• Attention to detail, a critical mindset, and an organised approach.
• Comfortable working in English in an international environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with digital tools such as SharePoint and Canva.
• Knowledge of Dutch.
