Internal Communications & Engagement Intern

Location: NL-Hub; based in Amsterdam, with candidates expected to live in or near Amsterdam.

What you will do

• Manage the internal communications platform and support its continuous development.
• Maintain the internal communications calendar and handle incoming communications requests.
• Write, edit, and refine articles, campaigns, activations, and multimedia content using Canva, Figma, and other design tools.
• Support internal projects, events, Town Halls, and initiatives promoting the brand and culture.
• Research employee engagement and internal communications trends and practices.
• Gather feedback, track engagement metrics, and compile data for reporting.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a university (WO) student, with either experience in internal communications or enrollment in a relevant Master's programme.
• Living in or near Amsterdam.
• Fluent English with strong writing skills.
• Strong people and communication skills.
• Hands-on approach and willingness to take initiative.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Curious, open-minded, eager to learn, and willing to think outside the box.
• Digital proficiency; experience with Canva and basic video editing is advantageous.

Nice to have

• Basic HTML knowledge.
• Basic understanding of UX/UI.
