People Advisor (Employee Relations)

Location: Sunrise House, Ninth Ave, Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire, United Kingdom. Onsite, Monday to Friday, 12pm–7pm.

What you will do

• Set up and manage employee relations cases in the Case Management System, ensuring accurate details and timely updates.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls and emails with managers and wider stakeholders.
• Build relationships across the business to stay informed and support operational needs.
• Prepare letters, complete day-to-day employee relations administration, and support TUPE-related tasks.
• Act as an escalation point for more complex employee relations queries.

Requirements

• Knowledge of HR people practices, including payroll and compliance.
• Experience working with HR systems such as Workday HCM.
• Understanding of GDPR requirements.
• Strong data management and Excel skills.
• Ability to prioritise, manage an independent workload, and take ownership of tasks.
