Product Management Intern (Data and AI)

Location: US - Foster City, California; hybrid, with at least 3 days in the office. Travel required 5–10% of the time.

Salary: $46–$55 per hour USD for U.S. applicants.

What you will do

• Collaborate with product, engineering, design, technology, and business teams to define and refine product requirements, feasibility, and project plans.
• Conduct user research and stakeholder interviews to identify pain points, user personas, and user journeys.
• Develop product prototypes, demos, and wireframes to communicate product concepts.
• Analyze usage data and feedback to support feature prioritization and roadmap planning.
• Support modernization of platform datasets from on-premise environments to hirify.global’s hybrid cloud, aligning them with the enterprise data model.
• Improve data quality and discoverability through data checks, metadata, lineage, governance, security, and dataset-access processes.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Product Design, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, with graduation between December 2027 and August 2028.
• Strong communication skills, including clear and concise written and spoken communication, professional judgment, and no repeated grammatical or typographical errors.
• Digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools.

Nice to have

• Curiosity, strong analytical and quantitative skills, and the ability to derive insights from data.
• A proactive, self-starting attitude, willingness to learn, creative thinking, and interest in innovation.
• Basic understanding of data quality, metadata, and data lineage.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP, or interest in learning cloud-based data tools.
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills across technical and business teams.
• Strong interest in product management, data platforms, and conversational AI.
• Familiarity with PowerBI, Tableau, or MicroStrategy.
• Familiarity with InVision, Figma, or Balsamiq.
• Familiarity with MS Project.
