TL;DR
Senior Chemist - Organic Synthesis (Semiconductor Lithography Materials): Designing and synthesizing novel monomers, photoacid generators, quenchers, and other raw materials for semiconductor photoresists with an accent on organic synthesis, purification, and material characterization. Focus on developing next-generation ArF/KrF BARC, EUV underlayer, and EUV resist materials for advanced semiconductor applications.

Location: Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea

What you will do

  • Design and synthesize novel monomers for photoresist polymer development.
  • Develop ionic organic compounds for photoacid generators and quenchers.
  • Purify and characterize synthesized materials.
  • Support the development of next-generation lithography materials for semiconductor applications.
  • Contribute to lithography R&D covering ArF/KrF BARC, EUV underlayers, and EUV resists.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in organic synthesis.
  • Extensive experience with compound purification techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a research and development environment.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing and presentations, in English and Korean.

Nice to have

  • Experience with semiconductor materials, photoresists, photoacid generators, or functional monomers.
