Technical Manager - Platform Services Mobile Foundations (React/React Native)

Location: Remote within Brazil; this role is only open to candidates in Brazil.

What you will do

• Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team building frontend and mobile platform foundations, SDKs, and integration services such as push notifications, identity, and localization.
• Manage engineers directly, including hiring, performance management, career development, and mentoring.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of cross-functional platform initiatives aligned with frontend, mobile, BFF, and core service requirements.
• Provide technical and architectural leadership for React and React Native ecosystems, including code and design reviews.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, and consumer teams to align technical scope, roadmaps, and integration standards.
• Establish engineering practices for testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and developer experience.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing and leading engineering teams, including people management, hiring, performance management, and career development.
• Mandatory prior experience with React, React Native, and mobile architecture.
• Solid software engineering background with hands-on experience in React and React Native ecosystems and modern frontend/mobile architecture.
• Experience leading technical projects from conception to deployment while balancing engineering quality and time-to-market.
• Understanding of distributed system architecture, modern mobile architectures, Micro Frontends, BFF with Node.js, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, including roadmap execution, sprint planning, risk mitigation, and resource allocation.
• Strong communication skills in both Portuguese and English, including the ability to bridge technical details with non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to foster an inclusive, collaborative culture and mentor developers.
