Product Designer III (SaaS)

Location: Manila, Philippines; full-time and based in the Philippines. Collaboration follows a time zone shared with Perth.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end design for features and user journeys, from research and ideation through wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, final UI design, release, and design QA.
• Frame problems with Product Managers and Engineers by defining target users, success measures, and the appropriate research approach.
• Plan and conduct customer interviews, usability tests, and data analysis to guide product decisions.
• Create detailed flows, designs, and prototypes in Figma, covering states, edge cases, and accessibility needs; use AI-assisted tools to explore and prototype faster.
• Extend and document the hirify.global design system, communicate design rationale, present work, and facilitate workshops and feedback sessions.
• Provide engineers with clear specifications and logic, stay involved during implementation, and support other designers through critique, pairing, and onboarding.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer or UX/UI Designer on SaaS or complex web applications, including end-to-end feature ownership.
• Portfolio demonstrating problem framing, research, design trade-offs, and shipped results.
• Hands-on experience planning and running usability tests and customer interviews.
• Experience working in agile teams with Product Managers and Engineers.
• Strong interaction, visual, and content design skills with close attention to detail.
• Fluency in Figma and experience working with design systems.
• Clear written and spoken English communication and confidence presenting to stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI tools in the design workflow or curiosity to explore them.
• Understanding of front-end technologies.
• Experience with messaging, communications, or developer-facing products.
• Familiarity with growth mechanics such as onboarding, activation, and conversion.
