Senior Software Engineer, Software Delivery & Developer Experience (SDDX)

What you will do

• Advance the continuous delivery foundation and delivery platform used by engineering teams.
• Build, own, and improve CI/CD pipelines across the engineering organization.
• Apply agentic AI to CI/CD, infrastructure, and developer tooling.
• Build self-service tools and frameworks that reduce bottlenecks while maintaining quality, security, and reliability.
• Own the end-to-end software development experience, from initial coding through production observability.
• Use productivity and delivery metrics to guide experimentation, releases, onboarding, and cross-team improvements.

Requirements

• Adopt a learn-it-all mindset and be able to quickly learn, teach, and promote new technologies, platforms, and tools.
• Have a platform engineering and customer-centric mindset.
• Be proficient in Python and Bash, and explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Be comfortable with at least one workflow orchestration tool; GitHub Actions is preferred, while CircleCI, Jenkins, or an equivalent tool is acceptable.
• Have practical experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes ConfigMaps.
• Be able to build dashboards and monitors with Datadog or a similar tool, including performance and failure-rate tracking.
• Have software development experience and an understanding of friction caused by slow deployments and inefficient development workflows.
• Have experience setting up and maintaining Terraform repositories that deploy AWS resources across multiple AWS accounts with contributions from multiple teams.
• Have mentored other engineers and invested in their professional growth.

Nice to have

• GitHub Actions experience is preferred over CircleCI, Jenkins, or equivalent workflow orchestration tools.
• Experience applying agentic AI to software delivery, infrastructure, or developer tooling.
