Implementation Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States

Base salary: $93,900–$136,200 USD; target range: $104,000–$126,500 USD, plus bonus eligibility and equity

What you will do

• Own 15–20+ customer implementations from post-sale handoff through technical setup, enablement, initial value, and transition to Customer Success.
• Lead security integrations, configurations, Workbench training, custom setup, and incident simulations.
• Partner with the Security Operations Center to validate customer configurations and support threat detection and response readiness.
• Set timelines, communicate expectations, manage milestones, identify blockers, and escalate risks affecting onboarding.
• Maintain implementation documentation, provide technical guidance to associate-level teammates, and recommend improvements to onboarding processes.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience implementing SaaS solutions, security services, or IT services in enterprise environments.
• Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Implementation Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Technical Support, or Professional Services.
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity technologies including EDR, SIEM, NDR, and CASB.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals including the OSI model, DNS, firewalls, and proxies, particularly for security integrations and deployments.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP and their native security services.
• Understanding of enterprise security best practices and compliance frameworks including SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
• Technical troubleshooting skills for tracing data flows, identifying integration issues, and resolving challenges between customer environments and the hirify.global platform.
• Strong communication skills for translating technical concepts to security practitioners, business stakeholders, and customers.
• Experience managing multiple customer implementations or technical projects simultaneously, with organized priorities and timelines.
• Ability to set expectations, navigate difficult conversations, hold customers accountable, exercise judgment on escalation, and adapt beyond standard playbooks.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
