Production Assistant (Graphic Design)

Location: Remote within the United States; must work and reside within the US.

What you will do

• Create and modify simple and complex graphics and line-art illustrations for online and paper tests.
• Support desktop publishing for paper-and-pencil tests, ancillary documents, and proposals.
• Prepare files for print and online production.
• Collaborate with the production team to deliver accurate, high-quality assessment materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign, with 0–2 years of professional experience using them.
• Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Professional, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Word.
• Experience and a clear understanding of file preparation for both print and online production.
• Comfort working on both PC and Mac platforms.
• Reliability, organization, motivation, strong communication, attention to detail, excellent time management, analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, quick learning, and the ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Portfolio or work samples must be provided. Selected candidates must complete an illustration task using Adobe Illustrator.

Nice to have

• Experience creating scientific technical illustrations or mathematical graphics.
