Manager, Firewall Infrastructure Engineering

Location: Remote-MO; other remote locations include Remote-FL and Remote-CA. Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.

Salary: $102,900.00–$190,500.00 per year.

What you will do

• Lead firewall infrastructure engineers, set priorities and sprint objectives, manage performance, develop careers, coach team members, and build succession plans.
• Ensure reliable operation, supportability, monitoring, availability, and operational readiness across enterprise firewall infrastructure and supporting services.
• Advance resiliency, scalability, observability, automation, capacity planning, disaster recovery, and infrastructure lifecycle capabilities.
• Develop multi-year hardware refresh, technology currency, capacity, and expansion strategies, including executive reporting.
• Lead firewall infrastructure projects, coordinating resources, timelines, dependencies, stakeholders, and measurable outcomes.
• Manage infrastructure risks, audits, controls, standards, vendors, service providers, maintenance, renewals, and platform lifecycle planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience, or equivalent experience reflecting the required knowledge, duties, scope, and skills.
• Strong people leadership, team development, coaching, mentoring, collaboration, team building, and conflict management skills.
• Execution-focused management approach and the ability to balance operational support with strategic improvements.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including recommendations and presentations for upper management.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent security initiatives and applying risk-based decision-making.
• Ability to translate technical issues into business-impact discussions.
• Negotiation skills and the ability to lead and manage others.
