Site Reliability Engineer Intern (Cloud): Maintaining and improving big data platforms and services on overseas cloud platforms with an accent on monitoring, resource management, and operational stability. Focus on building automated operations tools, optimizing service architecture, and implementing fault-tolerant and disaster-recovery cloud solutions.

Location: Singapore-CapitaSky; onsite

What you will do

Maintain big data suites on overseas cloud platforms, including monitoring and resource management.
Ensure the stability of data platforms and related services.
Build automated operations and maintenance tools to improve deployment and maintenance efficiency.
Optimize the architecture of data-related services.
Design and implement public cloud solutions for fault tolerance and remote disaster recovery.

Requirements

Hands-on experience processing and maintaining deployment and monitoring for resource objects and applications, including Kubernetes container clusters.
Familiarity with mainstream public cloud service technologies, including GCP or AWS, and related cloud service product tools.
Familiarity with big data tools such as Hadoop, Kafka, Flink, Storm, and NoSQL databases.
Proficiency in more than one programming or scripting language, such as Shell, Python, or Go.
Passion for learning and ability to function effectively in a team.

Nice to have

Experience developing automated operations, maintenance, or monitoring tools is strongly preferred.
