Insurance Analyst (Commercial Insurance)

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States; hybrid work with three days in the office each week, Monday through Friday during standard business hours.

Salary: $65,000–$75,000 annually.

What you will do

• Review commercial loan documents and insurance coverage periodically to verify compliance with lender servicing requirements.
• Request and follow up on revisions to insurance policies with external insurance agents and brokers.
• Communicate with lenders and recommend resolutions for insurance and loan compliance issues.
• Review monthly reports to manage the commercial loan portfolio and certify compliance to lenders when required.
• Educate borrowers on loan-specific insurance requirements and collaborate with Escrow, Loan Origination, and Servicing teams.

Requirements

• 1+ year of office experience, or an associate degree or higher.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, financial documents, and governmental regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in available data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Problem-solving, decision-making, and strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Driven, innovative team-player focused on results and delivering a superior work product.

Nice to have

• Commercial Property and Casualty insurance and/or servicing experience or training.
