Senior Cybersecurity Engineer (IAM)

Location: Remote Kentucky, United States; occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $117,600–$161,700 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end application onboarding intake, discovery, scoping, and delivery-readiness activities for Identity Governance and Administration services.
• Partner with application architects, developers, product teams, application owners, IAM engineers, and cybersecurity stakeholders to assess requirements, dependencies, risks, and implementation needs.
• Evaluate applications for Microsoft Entra ID authentication and authorization compatibility and determine appropriate IAM integration strategies.
• Develop high-level SailPoint Identity Security Cloud onboarding and integration designs, including REST API, out-of-the-box connector, flat-file, and batch-based patterns.
• Define Joiner, Mover, and Leaver lifecycle processes, provisioning and governance data sources, access ownership and approval models, and privileged, system, and service account approaches.
• Translate intake findings into epics, features, and user stories while driving consistency, scalability, compliance, and adherence to IAM standards.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience leading IAM or IGA application onboarding, discovery, intake, and scoping activities.
• Deep understanding of identity governance, access management, and identity lifecycle management.
• Expertise with Microsoft Entra ID, SailPoint Identity Security Cloud, and Privileged Access Management solutions.
• Experience evaluating applications and creating high-level IAM integration designs.
• Knowledge of SailPoint ISC API, connector-based, and file-based integration approaches.
• Experience working with application architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders.
• Strong documentation, analytical, requirements-gathering, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage complex onboarding initiatives from intake through delivery readiness.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise Identity Governance and Administration platforms.
• Knowledge of OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, SCIM, LDAP, and REST-based integrations.
• Experience in regulated healthcare, financial services, or other highly governed environments.
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies, feature development, and backlog management.
• IAM-related certifications such as SailPoint, CISSP, CIAM, Security+, or Microsoft Identity certifications.
