Equity Compensation Program Manager

Location: Hybrid role based at Roblox's San Mateo, California headquarters; office attendance is required Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday. This is a US-based role, and candidates must have United States work authorization. Roblox may not be able to employ candidates with certain US visa categories and does not currently support future H-1B sponsorship.

Salary: $164,390–$209,130 USD annual base pay. Actual pay may vary based on professional background, training, experience, location, business needs, and market demand. Full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage and scale equity compensation programs, including monthly new-hire grant preparation, equity budgeting, burn-rate tracking, and dilution modeling.
• Research, develop, and maintain competitive, compliant equity programs and policies aligned with market trends and business priorities.
• Build quantitative reports, complex compensation models, statistical analyses, and automated dashboards to monitor equity metrics and maintain data integrity.
• Create communication materials that educate participants and business leaders about equity programs, structural changes, and equity value.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Accounting, Stock Administration, and external vendors on complex equity inquiries and escalations.
• Monitor programs continuously to identify opportunities for workflow automation and strategic improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and at least 5 years of corporate and/or consulting compensation-related experience.
• Experience in the technology sector or with high-growth public companies is required as the preferred target background.
• Deep understanding of public-company equity plan design, mechanics, and structure, including RSUs, PSUs, stock options, new-hire equity design, and annual refresh programs.
• Hands-on experience managing equity budgeting, forecasting, run-rate, and dilution modeling.
• Expert-level proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with the ability to perform complex scenario modeling and handle massive datasets.
• Exceptional analytical skills and experience building statistical analyses, reporting, and automated dashboards.
• Experience translating complex equity concepts and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives.
• Strong attention to detail, zero-defect accuracy, speed of execution, and the ability to connect granular data with strategic priorities.
