Project Engineer I (Cryogenic Equipment)

Location: North Las Vegas, Nevada, US; onsite, with domestic and foreign travel to customer and supplier sites.

Designs, manufactures, and supports cryogenic pumps, heat exchangers, process systems, and related solutions for the LNG and industrial gases industry, with engineering, production, and testing facilities in the United States and Japan.

What you will do

• Manage capital equipment projects from order receipt through shipment and final documentation, including schedules, resources, costs, status reporting, and technical activities.
• Review project requirements, product designs, customer specifications, performance standards, and applicable industry regulations.
• Coordinate with Design Engineering to develop design plans, complete design work, and resolve project design requirements with customers and suppliers.
• Create and revise bills of materials in CAD and MER/ERP, along with project documentation required by supplier document lists.
• Confirm product performance through testing, oversee testing activities, and address non-conforming material issues.
• Act as a liaison between departments, suppliers, and customers, including travel to customer and supplier locations in the US and abroad.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of related experience.
• Ability to review product designs and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry regulations.
• Ability to prepare technical studies, cost estimates, project schedules, status reports, and project documentation.
• Ability to work in an office environment and travel to client offices, production facilities, industrial or construction job sites, and other company facilities.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport.
• Ability to safely work in a potentially explosive environment and comply with required PPE and safety training.
• Ability to meet the listed physical requirements, including standing, walking, sitting, climbing or balancing, stooping or kneeling, and potentially lifting up to 50 pounds.

• EIT or PE certification.
