Data Analyst (Banking) (SAS/SQL): Building data models, statistical analyses, dashboards, and operational reporting for COO Netherlands with an accent on banking processes, customer operations, and data-driven performance improvement. Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid work.

What you will do
- Develop knowledge of COO Netherlands processes and build data models and statistical deep-dive analyses across customer operations.
- Provide visualisations, numerical insights, dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis for periodic projects and day-to-day operations.
- Prepare report for Group, the Executive Committee of Domestic Bank Netherlands, COO NL management, and other senior stakeholders.
- Identify stakeholder requirements and support the delivery of high-quality, automated, sustainable, and maintainable data solutions.
- Support budget, challenge exist ways of work, and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
- Support junior data analysts with their data models.
Requirements
- HBO or WO Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field, and/or proven experience in the field.
- 3–5 years of experience with statistical data analysis and data frameworks.
- Familiarity with operational bank processes, IT tool, and service concepts.
- Broad practical experience with data preparation and analysis techniques, includ SAS and SQL.
- Experience with dashboard tool such as Cognos.
- Experience with stakeholder management.
- Proactive approach to find and implement improvements, with strong analytical and numerical skills and a result-oriented mindset.
