Operations Specialist, Part Time (Crypto)

Location: On site in Frankfurt am Main, Hesse, Germany. Part-time evening work Monday to Friday from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, plus Sunday shifts of about 4 hours, up to 24 hours per week total.

What you will do

• Provide operational support for crypto and banking transactions, including secure handling, withdrawal verification, and post-transaction monitoring until on-chain settlement.
• Prepare daily, monthly, and quarterly reconciliations for crypto and fiat accounts, Assets under Custody, and related internal reports.
• Support client onboarding, account opening and maintenance, periodic KYC reviews, risk-profile updates, and accurate audit-ready recordkeeping.
• Perform KYC/AML due diligence, including document, ownership-structure, source-of-funds, sanctions, PEP, adverse-media, transaction-monitoring, and trade-surveillance reviews.
• Resolve account issues and coordinate with Sales, KYC/AML, IT Security, Customer Success, Compliance, Finance, Risk, and InfoSec teams.
• Maintain operational hardware and software, support token updates, handle Travel Rule follow-ups, assist with finance and vendor activities, and support day-to-day office management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 1–2 years of experience in operations, banking, or financial services, with a genuine interest in digital assets.
• Clear written and spoken communication in German and English with internal and external stakeholders.
• Accuracy, strong attention to detail, and commitment to continuously improving daily workflows.
• Organization and confidence using email, spreadsheets, and databases to manage and track tasks.
• Strong sense of urgency when serving internal and external clients.
• Analytical, solution-oriented mindset and active listening skills.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Team-oriented approach, sound and growing judgment, and willingness to collaborate and learn.
• Availability for evening and Sunday work, with a part-time schedule of 20 hours per week plus Sunday shifts, up to 24 hours total.
