PHP Developer (Infrastructure Automation)

Location: Hybrid in Bratislava, Slovakia; expected to work from the Bratislava office 3 days a week. Working hours are 9 am–5 pm, with occasional flexibility according to business needs.

Salary: €3,100–€4,700 gross per month.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain PHP automation scripts and tools.
• Manage the lifecycle of Linux, UNIX, and Windows Server systems and applications, including inventory, patching, merging, and decommissioning.
• Collaborate with database and system design engineers, IT and Security teams, and infrastructure stakeholders.
• Support infrastructure for business-critical applications and databases.
• Improve system reliability, performance, and security through monitoring and automation.
• Support compliance, documentation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in PHP automation and scripting.
• Hands-on experience with application and system lifecycle management, patching, automation, and merging.
• Experience supporting enterprise environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail and system reliability.
• Strategic mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
• Passion for system reliability, automation, and delivering high-impact solutions.
