DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes)

Location: Remote from Egypt or Uzbekistan

What you will do

• Architect, build, and maintain performant, stable, resilient, secure, and highly available infrastructure across all environments.
• Own the scalability, stability, availability, and disaster recovery of low-latency, mission-critical systems.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and maintain Helm manifests for Kubernetes.
• Maintain infrastructure as code and manage Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, VPNs, load balancers, and firewalls.
• Set up monitoring with New Relic, Prometheus, and Grafana; debug infrastructure and identify bottlenecks.
• Monitor infrastructure 24/7, resolve infrastructure-tier incidents, escalate when necessary, and document incident investigations.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of DevOps experience on production applications.
• At least 1 year of experience working with Terraform.
• Strong understanding of AWS and GCP cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of containerized environments with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Strong hands-on experience building highly available infrastructure with EKS on AWS.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure as code, GitOps, and ArgoCD.
• Strong understanding of securing production infrastructure.
• At least 1 year of experience with infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Experience designing and architecting high-performing applications and working with agile development practices.
