DevOps Engineer (Web3)

What you will do

• Own infrastructure, deployments, networking, security hygiene, resource lifecycle, and cloud costs across Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, AWS, Cloudflare, and Vercel.
• Run, upgrade, and scale Kubernetes clusters, including node pools, autoscaling, Spot or preemptible capacity, networking, security, and stateful workloads.
• Operate validator, sentry, seed, RPC, and archive blockchain nodes, including peering, snapshots, synchronization, client upgrades, and rolling releases.
• Design and maintain Terraform or Pulumi infrastructure and production CI/CD pipelines covering builds, tests, security scans, infrastructure changes, and deployments.
• Maintain observability, incident response, postmortems, least-privilege access, secrets management, network security, and reliable recovery processes.
• Enable developers through templates, preview environments, documentation, and platform support.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform roles, including 3+ years running production Kubernetes and owning CI/CD pipelines.
• Production experience with at least two of Google Cloud, AWS, and Alibaba Cloud, plus willingness to learn the third quickly.
• In-depth Kubernetes experience: cluster and node-pool upgrades without downtime, scheduling, autoscaling, CNI, Services, Ingress or Gateway API, network policies, DNS, RBAC, Pod Security, workload identity, secrets, StatefulSets, persistent volumes, CSI drivers, backup and restore, Helm or Kustomize, and GitOps.
• Production CI/CD experience with Jenkins or an equivalent such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Tekton, including pipelines as code, shared libraries or reusable templates, CI platform operations, caching, parallel builds, artifacts, image scanning, SBOMs, signing, deployment promotion, quality gates, rollback, infrastructure pipelines, policy checks, drift detection, and pipeline security.
• Networking knowledge covering TCP/IP, subnetting and CIDR, routing, NAT, L4 and L7 load balancing, DNS, TLS, certificates, firewalls, security groups, VPC design, peering, private endpoints, and internet egress costs.
• Production Terraform or Pulumi experience, plus scripting in Bash and Python or Go.
• Experience reducing cloud costs through rightsizing, cleanup, or commitments.
• Security-first handling of production credentials and clear written communication.
• Production experience running blockchain nodes such as CometBFT validators and sentries, EVM archive or RPC nodes, and snapshot pipelines.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cloudflare Workers, Tunnels, and Zero Trust at scale.
• Alibaba Cloud experience on the international site, including its billing and support model.
• Confidential computing with Intel TDX and GPU workloads.
• CKA or CKS certification, a FinOps certification, or experience migrating between CI systems such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Go or Rust experience sufficient to read and patch operated services.
