Security Administration Analyst (Identity and Access Management)

Location: Jersey City, United States; working hours 10:00–18:00 ET with periodic shift adjustments, rotating on-call coverage, and alternate work schedules.

Salary: $100,000–$125,000 base salary plus annual target bonus.

What you will do

• Process user access and provisioning requests across multiple systems in line with SLAs, security policies, quality standards, and least-privilege principles.
• Lead identity lifecycle activities for new hires, transfers, and terminations, including full-time employees and consultants.
• Investigate and resolve access incidents and provisioning issues through support channels and operational queues.
• Coordinate with Security Coordinators, Application Owners, Data Owners, global peers, ISM, Technology, and business stakeholders.
• Train and mentor junior team members, provide day-to-day leadership without direct supervisory responsibility, and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Identify risks, strengthen controls, maintain documentation, and improve provisioning workflows through automation and technical tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Information Security, Identity and Access Management, or a related field.
• Strong interest in technology, Information Security, and Identity and Access Management.
• Knowledge of role-based access control (RBAC) models and least-privilege access principles.
• Experience with security administration tools including Active Directory and ServiceNow, and with Identity and Access Management platforms such as SailPoint or similar.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and VBA.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, work independently, and collaborate effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with scripting or programming for automation, such as PowerShell, Python, SQL, or Java.
• Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
• ITIL certification.
• Cybersecurity certification such as Security+ or CISSP.
