Release Manager (ERP): Establishing and professionalizing release management across complex Enterprise Systems with an accent on standardized governance, release calendars, cross-functional coordination, and production readiness. Location: Remote position based in Germany, with occasional on-site collaboration at offices in Berlin or Cologne; up to 20 work-from-home days per year from anywhere in the EU.

What you will do
- Lead the evolution of Enterprise Release Management by establishing standardized governance, release calendars, best practices, templates, and documentation.
- Coordinate complex cross-functional releases across Enterprise Systems with Business Owners, Team Leads, ERP Consultants, Architects, Project and Delivery Managers, delivery and QA teams, and external partners.
- Drive release readiness by facilitating Go/No-Go decisions, managing dependencies, risks, approvals, and implementation planning.
- Provide transparency and predictability for production deployments while aligning business and technology stakeholders around shared release objectives.
- Identify continuous-improvement opportunities to increase release reliability, standardization, coordination, and future automation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Release Management, IT Delivery, Service Management, or Project Management within complex Enterprise Systems environments.
- Experience coordinating releases across ERP platforms such as D365 F&O, AX, SAP, or similar.
- Understanding of cross-system dependency management without owning the technical deployment.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and structured release governance.
- Ability to align business and technology stakeholders around common release objectives.
- Ability to create structure, challenge existing ways of working, and build collaborative relationships supporting successful production releases.
