Senior Manager, Finance Transformation (NetSuite)

Location: Remote - United States. Candidates residing in Alaska, Delaware, Iowa, Mississippi, Nebraska, South Dakota, West Virginia, or Wisconsin are not considered.

Salary: Region 1: $170,000–$200,000; Region 2: $154,000–$182,000; Region 3: $139,000–$164,000. Pay varies by US location and is determined by skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal equity, and market conditions.

What you will do

• Partner with Accounting, Business Systems/IT, FP&A, and external advisors to align priorities, facilitate decisions, and coordinate delivery.
• Act as the Accounting partner for IT triage, translating incidents, enhancements, and defects into scoped tickets, severity assessments, requirements, testing plans, and release-readiness activities for NetSuite and connected finance tools such as Zip, FloQast, and Workiva.
• Own project and portfolio management through integrated plans, milestones, dependencies, RAID tracking, decision logs, dashboards, escalation, and executive reporting.
• Consolidate transformation, systems, and process-improvement initiatives into one prioritized portfolio with owners, outcome expectations, and operating metrics.
• Drive SOX and control-gap remediation, root-cause analysis, close acceleration, reconciliation-quality improvements, and period-end risk visibility across multiple entities.
• Establish repeatable mechanisms for tracking close blockers, remediation progress, cycle times, and portfolio health.

Requirements

• 9+ years of progressive experience in finance transformation, accounting operations, internal audit, finance systems, or process improvement, including leading cross-functional projects.
• Strong project and program management skills, including integrated planning, dependency management, risk and issue escalation, and executive reporting.
• Solid accounting fluency in close processes, reconciliations, journal entries, and controls, with the ability to translate business needs into system and process requirements.
• Experience partnering with IT or Business Systems on intake, incident triage, prioritization, and release management.
• Experience with SOX, internal controls, or financial reporting risk remediation in a public-company or late-stage pre-IPO environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, hyper-growth environment and adjust priorities using a practical, feasible-first approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, collaborative stakeholder management, and the ability to facilitate meetings when priorities conflict.
• Hands-on NetSuite experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Information Systems.

Nice to have

• PMP or equivalent certification.
• Experience building or rebuilding a team or function.
• Exposure to multi-entity, international operations, including intercompany accounting, foreign exchange, and consolidation.
• CPA certification.
