People Intern (HR/AI)

Location: Onsite in Capelle aan den IJssel, Netherlands, at least four days per week. Start at the end of January 2027 or beginning of February 2027.

What you will do

• Support monthly payroll changes and checks for approximately 70 colleagues in the Netherlands.
• Support locally processed payroll changes for teams in Germany, Belgium, Sweden, and the UK.
• Maintain accurate HR administration and employee files and support employee questions, onboarding, and daily People Operations.
• Support recruitment from candidate sourcing and screening through interview scheduling and welcoming new hires.
• Help develop candidate experience, employer value proposition content, vacancy texts, careers-site content, job-board content, and social-media content.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes through AI and automation.

Requirements

• Current HBO student in Human Resources, Management Studies, or a related field seeking a 5-month internship.
• Fluent Dutch and English.
• Comfortable working with people, numbers, and details.
• Organised, accurate, proactive, curious, and willing to take initiative and ask questions.
• Interest in AI and smarter ways of working.
• Creative approach to writing, content creation, and developing fresh ideas.
