Product ML Engineer

Location: Hybrid working from the Paris headquarters, France; relocation support is available.

What you will do

• Embed within the SMB, Scaler, or Enterprise product team and solve focused ML problems tied to customer and business outcomes.
• Own ML projects end to end, from problem framing and approach selection through shipping, measurement, monitoring, and iteration.
• Choose whether to fine-tune or build models, or integrate external models, APIs, and libraries.
• Work with the ML team on shared infrastructure, evaluation tooling, and technical expertise.
• Use customer feedback and product usage data to guide rapid iterations.
• Build evaluations, monitor production performance, investigate failures, and write maintainable production code.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience building and shipping ML-powered products into production.
• Strong experience with PyTorch or equivalent frameworks such as TensorFlow or JAX.
• Ability to fine-tune vision or diffusion models, design meaningful evaluations, and debug training runs.
• Ability to work pragmatically with external models, APIs, or existing libraries when they provide the fastest route to customer value.
• Experience moving between experimentation and production engineering in real product codebases.
• Strong ownership of ambiguous ML problems, including deciding priorities, choosing an approach, and driving delivery to production.
• Ability to iterate quickly, collaborate, explain technical expertise, and learn from others.
• Fluent English; French is not required.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping generative image models or diffusion models into production.
• Experience evaluating third-party AI APIs against internal alternatives.
• Experience working in a fast-growing startup or directly within a product team.
