Senior Backend Data Specialist (Healthcare Data)

What you will do

• Build, maintain, and optimize Python scripts and backend systems for data processing, system automation, and data analysis.
• Write, debug, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data pipelines for large healthcare datasets.
• Develop and maintain automation workflows in a Windows environment using PowerShell and Command Line or Batch scripting.
• Review and apply healthcare regulations to support system compliance, data integrity, and sensitive data handling.
• Document technical findings, workflows, and process changes.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to report insights, troubleshoot issues, and align project goals.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Python for backend development, task automation, and data manipulation or analysis.
• Deep understanding of relational databases, SQL query optimization, indexing, and data warehousing principles.
• Hands-on experience with Windows environment scripting, including PowerShell or Batch, for task scheduling and system operations.
• Ability to read, interpret, and enforce healthcare regulations and data privacy rules, including HIPAA.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of clear technical documentation and team collaboration.
