Senior Desktop and Endpoint Solutions Analyst (Windows/Virtualization)

Salary: $98,200–$150,550 per year

What you will do

• Own enterprise-wide end-user computing and endpoint management strategies and operational services.
• Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based virtual desktops and enterprise endpoint solutions, including VMware Horizon, virtual desktop, and cloud desktop environments.
• Oversee digital workplace technologies, identity services, software delivery, application packaging, imaging, and device lifecycle management.
• Govern outsourced IT service providers, reviewing SLAs, KPIs, service backlogs, incidents, infrastructure designs, implementations, and maintenance schedules.
• Manage leased hardware, automated device deployments, configurations, refreshes, technology budgets, equipment leases, and renewals.
• Coordinate with vendor managers, IT business leaders, peer organizations, and external providers to align execution with the enterprise and Boeing technical strategy.

Requirements

• 9–13 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 7–11 years with a master’s degree, in IT infrastructure and endpoint systems engineering.
• Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure, application packaging, OS imaging, teleconferencing, and user device management in Windows end-user environments.
• Familiarity with desktop virtualization platforms such as VDI, Citrix, VMware, Horizon, and/or cloud desktop environments.
• Ability to work 100% onsite at the Wichita facility.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to translate complex technical infrastructure requirements across all organizational levels.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and work with outsourced partner teams on priorities, incident resolution, upgrades, improvement activities, and execution.

Nice to have

• Operational management of vendor partnerships, software and hardware license management, and budgeting experience.
• Experience using project management methodologies to establish plans and monitor milestones.
• Microsoft Configuration Manager, PowerShell, Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy management, and SQL.
