Operations Support Specialist (Associate or Mid-level)

Location: Wichita, Kansas, United States; on-site. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain the U.S. Secret Security Clearance, and the final Secret Clearance is required after starting.

Salary: Associate Level 2: $59,450–$91,150 per year; Mid-level Level 3: $71,750–$110,000 per year.

What you will do

• Support manufacturing and production processes.
• Apply quality, industrial, and manufacturing engineering principles and coordinate with support disciplines and core functions.
• Develop quality and cost-effective production methods, standards, and systems using production engineering principles.
• Participate in technical research for proposed projects.
• Provide guidance to manufacturing staff.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of related experience.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship is required by the U.S. Government.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience for Mid-Level Level 3.
• Associate's degree, bachelor's degree, or trade school certificate.
• Understanding of fabrication and/or assembly build processes and sequencing.
• Experience in continuous improvement and manufacturing support.
• FSDA implementation and 3DX capability.
• Familiarity with drilling and welding hard metals, and with composite processes and materials.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, team-based environment; self-motivation and ownership of projects and issues through closure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
• Project management experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.
