Senior All-Source Counterterrorism Intelligence Analyst

What you will do

• Review classified Department of Defense documents and conduct classification and declassification assessments for GTMO detainee litigation and Office of Military Commissions proceedings.
• Apply DoD security classification and declassification guidance to recommend downgrading or release to Unclassified/For Official Use Only or Unclassified/Public Release levels.
• Prepare classified and unclassified intelligence summaries, supporting explanations, and analytical products.
• Coordinate with intelligence professionals, legal teams, Original Classification Authorities, DoD components, military departments, combatant commands, and other interagency stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve classification and declassification equities while managing competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
• Either a master's degree in any field and at least 12 years of relevant experience in all-source intelligence analysis or classification/declassification reviews, or a bachelor's degree in any field and at least 17 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience conducting all-source intelligence analysis and/or classification and declassification activities.
• Ability to independently manage complex assignments, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and operate with moderate customer oversight.
• Ability to develop comprehensive, accurate, high-quality analytical products requiring minimal revisions or editorial corrections.
• Strong analytical, research, written communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment involving sensitive national security information.

Nice to have

• Experience conducting classification and declassification reviews across a broad range of intelligence and national security documents.
• Familiarity with DoD classification guidance and procedures established by DoD Component Original Classification Authorities or their representatives.
• Experience identifying classified information, determining appropriate classification levels, and applying classification guidance to support declassification recommendations.
• Experience supporting interagency classification reviews, intelligence community coordination, or national security-related legal proceedings.
