Senior Software Engineer, Backend (Go)

Location: Onsite in the Singapore office

What you will do

• Own problem spaces across the product lifecycle, including frontend development, database design and management, data visualization, API development, and CI/CD management.
• Design and write Go services to improve availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency.
• Design, build, analyze, fix, and scale large-scale systems and backend services.
• Participate in capacity and demand planning, performance analysis, tuning, optimization, code reviews, and design reviews.
• Collaborate with product, experience, infrastructure, and engineering teams to define features, prototype specifications, develop scalable architectures, and perform root cause analysis.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and provide technical guidance, mentorship, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience in a distributed systems environment.
• Computer Science fundamentals in algorithms and data structures.
• Understanding of system performance and scaling.
• Programming skills in any language and willingness to work with Golang.
• Passion for building products, features, and platforms that accelerate business growth.
