AI Tutor - Uzbek

Location: Remote in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, or Australia; standard business hours in the local time zone are required for full-time positions. Travel to a SpaceXSI site may be required. US-based hiring is unavailable in Wyoming and Illinois.

Salary: US-based candidates receive $35–$45 per hour. Compensation information for international candidates is provided during recruitment.

xAI is building the Super Intelligence stack, including Colossus supercomputers, Grok models, and applications such as Grok Bot, Grok Build, Grok Imagine, Grok Voice, and X.

What you will do

• Annotate, label, and provide feedback on multilingual audio clips, voice recordings, and speech samples using proprietary tools.
• Translate and localize UI copy, prompts, responses, and other content from English into Uzbek.
• Produce clear, natural audio data that captures intonation, rhythm, accent, and other prosodic details.
• Collaborate with technical staff to refine annotation guidelines and tools for accents, background noise, speech variation, and multilingual audio.
• Help train and refine Grok’s Uzbek voice and language capabilities.

Requirements

• Uzbek proficiency at CEFR C1 level or higher.
• English proficiency at CEFR B2 level or higher.
• For full-time positions, availability to work standard business hours in the local time zone.

Nice to have

• Native proficiency in Uzbek.
• English proficiency at CEFR C1 level or higher.
• Advanced transcription or audio annotation experience involving accents, prosody, disfluencies, and variable recording quality.
• Translation or localization experience between English and Uzbek, especially for UI, product, or conversational text.
• Voice recording, voice acting, podcasting, or related audio production experience.
• Background in linguistics, phonetics, speech sciences, or speech/audio datasets and AI training data.
