Full-Stack Developer (Laravel + PHP)

Location: Worldwide; fully remote, office-based, or hybrid work options are available.

Salary: EUR 2,300–3,725 per month gross; final compensation depends on experience, location, and professional growth.

What you will do

• Build and maintain scalable full-stack web applications with Laravel on the back end and Vue or React on the front end.
• Contribute to scalable architecture decisions covering service design, data modeling, caching, and queue-based processing.
• Design RESTful APIs and integrations with internal and third-party systems.
• Develop reusable Laravel packages and front-end components shared across projects.
• Improve quality and performance by refactoring legacy code, optimizing queries, writing automated tests, and contributing to code reviews and CI/CD improvements.
• Document technical decisions, APIs, and specifications while working with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver features.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with modern OOP PHP 8.x, including 3+ years with Laravel.
• Strong knowledge of the Laravel ecosystem, including Eloquent, queues and jobs, events, the service container, middleware, and authentication with Sanctum or Passport.
• Production experience with React or Vue.
• Familiarity with TypeScript through theory, pet projects, or courses.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs, including versioning, validation, authentication, and error handling.
• Solid SQL skills with MySQL or PostgreSQL, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
• Experience with caching and queues using Redis or RabbitMQ.
• Hands-on automated testing with PHPUnit or Pest, plus front-end tests using Vitest, Jest, or Playwright.
• Comfort with Git-based workflows, pull requests, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Comfort working in an AI-assisted workflow using tools such as Claude Code, Copilot, or Cursor, with the ability to review, verify, and own generated code.
• English at Intermediate+ level or above.

Nice to have

• Experience with Inertia.js, Livewire, or Next.js/Nuxt.
• Experience with Tailwind CSS.
• Experience with Docker and cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Forge, or Vapor.
• Experience with static analysis and code style tooling such as PHPStan/Larastan and Pint.
• Experience with real-time features using Reverb or WebSockets.
• Experience with event platforms, ticketing, or payment integrations such as Stripe.
