Sr. DevSecOps Engineer I (.NET)

Location: Washington, DC. Employment eligibility verification in the United States is required. The role is designated as essential personnel and may require work during government shutdowns, emergencies, or other critical situations.

Salary: $170,000–$220,000 per year, plus potential performance-based bonuses and additional incentives.

What you will do

• Build and maintain secure, automated CI/CD pipelines and implement security best practices for .NET frameworks.
• Integrate security throughout the development and operations lifecycle of applications supporting the federal government.
• Design, deploy, operate, and maintain enterprise development security platforms and secure or vetted package management solutions.
• Mentor development teams on secure coding practices and strengthen application security posture.
• Maintain compliance with customer requirements and deliver innovative solutions aligned with customer needs.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance with current or previously held SCI access.
• BA/BS in an IT-related field; relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
• Certification meeting DoD 8140 requirements, such as Security+, Cloud+, CySA+, or higher.
• 5+ years of DevSecOps Engineer experience or similar experience.
• Experience with enterprise development security platforms, secure or vetted package management solutions, and DevSecOps CI/CD solutions in both on-premise and cloud environments across multiple levels of classification.
• Demonstrated experience supporting projects of similar size, scope, and complexity.
• Ability to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
