Senior Specialist, Manufacturing Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Camden, Arkansas, United States; onsite. 4/10 schedule: four 10-hour workdays per week. Minimal travel required.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary Manufacturing Engineering representative to program teams and customers.
• Provide technical oversight across all production buildings supporting the assigned product line.
• Manage complex manufacturing projects and processes with general oversight.
• Investigate root causes and develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Update process documentation and improve systems and processes affecting departmental results.
• Support continuous improvement focused on safety, quality, efficiency, delivery performance, and cost reduction; participate in program meetings, customer reviews, and corrective action requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of relevant experience; or a graduate degree and at least 4 years of related experience; or at least 10 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
• Ability to communicate within and outside the function to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures.

Nice to have

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including report generation and data analysis.
• Experience with statistical analysis.
• Experience working with Energetics and Department of Defense contracts.
