Data Engineer Semi Senior (Databricks)

What you will do

• Co-develop batch and streaming pipelines, semantic models, and transformations on Databricks using Python and Spark.
• Define and maintain data contracts, quality rules, and data SLOs for each data product.
• Guide domain teams on data modeling and data product boundaries.
• Train, mentor, and pair with domain engineers and analysts on data product ownership and engineering practices.
• Capture feedback and best practices from domain teams and improve platform templates, tooling, and patterns.

Requirements

• Experience in data engineering, including building and optimizing data pipelines.
• Experience working with Databricks, Python, and Spark to build batch and streaming solutions.
• Basic or intermediate English proficiency.
• Familiarity with a BI visualization tool such as Power BI.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Databricks Workflows, Jobs, and Repos.
• Experience with other cloud providers, including AWS or GCP.
• Experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
