AI Developer (Healthcare AI)

hirify.global operates an AI-powered precision medicine platform that connects cancer patients with clinical trials and partners with pharmaceutical companies, CROs, and healthcare systems.

What you will do

• Build and deploy AI agents as Python microservices on the Agent Studio platform.
• Design multi-agent pipelines for OCR, clinical abstraction, terminology mapping, and FHIR generation.
• Integrate GPT-4o, GPT-5, and other LLM services for clinical text extraction, summarization, and decision support.
• Use Qdrant and other platform services for semantic search, RAG, and terminology resolution.
• Build healthcare integrations with Azure FHIR and standards including HL7, SNOMED CT, RxNorm, and LOINC.
• Develop dashboard features, production-ready code, error handling, observability, and collaborate with clinical teams on medical workflows.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Strong Python skills, including async/await, Pydantic, and FastAPI or similar frameworks.
• Experience with LLM prompt engineering, function calling, RAG pipelines, or fine-tuning.
• REST API design and implementation, SQL proficiency with PostgreSQL preferred, and Git workflows including branching, pull requests, and code review.
• Comfort with Docker and containerized deployments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Nice to have

• Healthcare data experience, including FHIR, HL7, ICD-10, SNOMED CT, or medical records.
• Azure services such as Container Apps, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Key Vault, and Blob Storage.
• Vector databases such as Qdrant, Pinecone, or Weaviate and embedding models.
• OpenTelemetry or distributed tracing experience.
• TypeScript and React, including Next.js, for dashboard contributions.
• Event-driven architecture, message queues, pub/sub, and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of clinical trials, oncology workflows, biotech, or CRM integrations such as HubSpot and Salesforce.
