Senior Product Operations Manager, Factory X (Aerospace)

Location: Washington, DC, USA; willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed. Eligibility requires qualifying as a U.S. Person or obtaining the required U.S. export authorizations under ITAR/EAR.

What you will do

• Own the master schedule across hirify.global and partner factories, maintain detailed project schedules, and stagger project kickoffs.
• Track partner facility and construction timelines and coordinate actions across Export, Supply Chain, and Production when dates change.
• Identify schedule conflicts, risks, and dependencies; provide leadership with status updates, options, and recommended resolutions.
• Run train-the-trainer programs and prepare deployment teams for each factory launch.
• Manage deployed-team logistics, including visas, housing, relocation, travel, and day-to-day operational needs.
• Coordinate resource planning and support factory execution through standup, build, ramp, steady-state production, and handoff to the Mission Manager and sustainment team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in program management, operations, or manufacturing.
• Proven experience building and owning schedules across multiple projects or sites simultaneously.
• Experience coordinating across multiple teams and external partners without direct authority over them.
• Experience managing relocation, housing, travel, and other logistics for people moving between sites.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including briefing internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a hands-on approach in a fast-growing company.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person or be able to obtain the export authorizations required under ITAR/EAR.

Nice to have

• Experience standing up or scaling a factory, production line, or new site.
• Experience with international deployments, export controls, or global mobility.
• Experience with visa and immigration processes alongside HR or legal teams.
• Experience with training or workforce readiness programs.
• Background in space, defense, or other regulated industries.
• PMP or similar certification.
