Senior Backend Engineer (Payments): Building and integrating payment services with an accent on card payments, payment flows, refunds, settlements, chargebacks, and secure transaction processing. Focus on developing Go or Node.js/TypeScript microservices, handling retries and payment edge cases, and maintaining reconciliation and money-transfer reliability.

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with Payments experience.

📍 English: B2
📅 Start: ASAP
Location: Remote, worldwide except Russia.

🔹 Requirements:
• Strong backend development experience with Go and/or Node.js/TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with card payments and payment integrations
• Understanding of payment flows, refunds, settlements and chargebacks
• Knowledge of PCI DSS and payment security
• Experience with payment gateways, reconciliation and money transfers
• Strong skills in PostgreSQL, REST APIs and microservices
• Understanding of transaction failures, retries and payment processing edge cases
• Good English communication skills

🕒 Working hours: Minimum 5 hours of overlap with US Central Time.
