Graduate Program - Data Scientist, Supply Chain Analytics (Industrial Gases)

What you will do

• Explore and model telemetry, delivery, order, and cost data to identify patterns, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
• Design, train, and validate machine learning models for demand and consumption forecasting, anomaly detection, and customer segmentation.
• Develop mathematical optimization and simulation models for network design, depot and transport planning, route optimization, and clustering.
• Build analytical products, including interactive applications and dashboards, with clear documentation and reproducible code.
• Define and track KPIs, design experiments and cost-benefit analyses, and support optimization initiatives.
• Work with geospatial and routing data, explore AI-assisted analytics and LLM-based tools, and present recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field.
• Solid programming skills in Python and SQL, including pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, or equivalent tools.
• Strong foundation in statistics, machine learning, and/or mathematical optimization.
• Ability to structure ambiguous business problems and translate them into analytical models.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality and model rigor.
• Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams across different functions and countries.
• Fluent English.
• Proactive, curious, and self-motivated mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience or strong interest in optimization, simulation, forecasting, or geospatial analysis.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Qlik Sense or Power BI.
• Additional European language skills.
