Lead SailPoint Solutions Engineer (Identity Governance)

Location: Remote within the United States, with occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings.

Salary: $142,300–$195,700 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Own technical delivery and platform execution for enterprise Identity Governance & Administration solutions in partnership with the Lead IGA Solutions Architect.
• Implement identity lifecycle, access governance, birthright access, certifications, access requests, RBAC/ABAC, and separation-of-duties controls.
• Engineer integrations with HR systems, directories, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications, including mapping, transformation, reconciliation, monitoring, and exception handling.
• Translate regulatory, audit, and risk requirements into enforceable technical controls.
• Own platform reliability, automation, deployment, version control, change management, and engineering standards.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and mentor engineers on implementation, integration, and operational practices.

Requirements

• SailPoint Certified Identity Now Engineer certification.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in identity engineering, security engineering, or software solution delivery.
• Strong hands-on experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud, including lifecycle workflows, access governance, and integrations.
• Experience engineering system and application integrations using APIs, SCIM, and enterprise data flows.
• Experience acting as technical owner for a platform or domain, with accountability for delivery quality and operational outcomes.
• Experience developing automation, scripts, or tooling for identity onboarding, migrations, or operational processes.
• Proficiency with version control and structured deployment or release workflows.
• Strong independent problem-solving skills with minimal oversight and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Advanced SailPoint ISC experience with custom connectors, complex workflows, and policy-driven access models.
• Experience implementing RBAC, ABAC, birthright access policies, certifications, and separation-of-duties controls at enterprise scale.
• Experience integrating IGA platforms with HR, ERP, SaaS, and cloud environments, including Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Familiarity with SAML, OAuth, OIDC, SCIM, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience supporting IGA platforms in regulated environments such as SOX, HIPAA, PCI, ISO, or NIST.
• Exposure to DevOps or platform engineering practices relevant to identity systems.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, cloud security certifications, or advanced SailPoint certifications.
• Ability to influence engineering practices and lead technical outcomes across teams.
