Animation Assistant (AAA Games)

Location: Hybrid/onsite at the studio in Santa Monica, California, United States. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Base pay: $37.16–$46.44 USD per hour.

Naughty Dog develops critically acclaimed AAA games, including The Last of Us series and Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.

What you will do

• Prepare scenes and assets for animation and audio teams.
• Work closely with animators to ensure quality standards are met.
• Help remove production blockers and support the animation process.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to the animation pipeline.
• Some experience with Maya or equivalent 3D animation software.
• Organized and methodical approach to work.
• Proactive communication skills.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• Trustworthy, dependable, and positive attitude.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Demo reel or work examples, preferably online, with a detailed breakdown of contributions to each project and an accompanying resume.

Nice to have

• Production experience.
