HX Content Strategist (Information Architecture and AI)

Location: Remote (United States); U.S. citizenship required. Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance required.

What you will do

• Define information architecture, taxonomies, and content models for complex healthcare and policy content.
• Build scalable content pipelines and publishing workflows in Drupal or a comparable CMS.
• Translate editorial workflows and customer research into content types and data structures.
• Modernize manual workflows and static content into structured, searchable content for people and LLM-based tools.
• Define content and product metrics, perform basic quantitative analysis, and contribute to product strategy and roadmap decisions.
• Support UX work through user flows, wireframes, prototypes, research, usability testing, facilitation, and accessibility practices including Section 508 and WCAG 2.1+.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in content strategy, content architecture, or combined product and content strategy for complex digital products.
• Demonstrated experience with information architecture, taxonomies, and content modeling.
• Experience working in a content management system with structured content and publishing workflows.
• Experience translating research and editorial needs into content types and data structures.
• Experience with basic quantitative data analysis and defining content or product metrics.
• Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, including experience in Agile teams.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Nice to have

• Hands-on Drupal experience.
• Interest in LLMs or experience building evaluation frameworks for LLM-based chatbots.
• Familiarity with federal healthcare policy and quality reporting, including CMS policy changes and the transition to FHIR-based reporting.
• Experience in federal or other highly regulated environments, including content with complex medical terminology.
• Experience with Figma, Miro, Jira, and Confluence.
