Reddit Social Media Manager

Location: Remote; full-time salaried employees must currently reside in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada.

Salary: $80K–$120K per year, plus potential stock options or equity opportunities.

What you will do

• Own hirify.global’s official Reddit presence across brand-owned subreddits and broader automotive, financial, and consumer communities.
• Establish and maintain hirify.global’s Reddit voice, adapting communication to subreddit dynamics, community guidelines, and platform culture.
• Create informative text posts, deep-dive guides, memes, and visual breakdowns about car ownership, insurance savings, and maintenance.
• Manage reputation and crisis communications by responding transparently and helpfully to public discussions about hirify.global.
• Track karma growth, thread sentiment, share of voice, referral traffic, search indexability, and LLM citations.
• Share Reddit insights, emerging car-owner pain points, and trending topics with Product and Content teams.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience managing organic social media or community strategy, with a heavy emphasis on Reddit, ideally in consumer technology, fintech, or insurtech, or a demonstrated record of growing other social accounts.
• Deep understanding of Reddit karma, subreddit dynamics, automoderators, shadowbans, and platform norms.
• Ability to write naturally for Reddit communities and avoid corporate-sounding communication.
• Understanding that long-term trust and educational, high-upvote content build stronger brand equity than short-term conversion pushes.
• Knowledge of how Reddit content feeds into Google SGE, LLMs, and organic SEO, including how to structure posts as lasting resources.
• Ability to handle skepticism, criticism, and difficult public questions with empathy, humor, and honesty.
• Current residence in an eligible U.S. state or Ontario, Canada is required.
